The 2026 Rox Reading Program Reaches Record Numbers

Nearly 20,000 students picked up a book this year through the St. Cloud Rox Reading Program, making 2026 the program's biggest season yet.

For the past 15 years, Magnifi Financial Credit Union has partnered with the St. Cloud Rox Reading Program to help inspire a love of reading beyond the classroom. This year's program reached 19,700 students from 59 elementary schools, who logged an incredible 900,000 minutes of reading throughout Central Minnesota.

Since the partnership began in 2012, more than 177,000 students have participated, making the Rox Reading Program one of the region's most impactful literacy programs.

More Than Reading

Every page turned brings students one step closer to rewards while encouraging a habit that can last a lifetime.

Each student who completes the program receives:

• Two St. Cloud Rox game tickets

• Entry into a weekly drawing to win a Magnifi x Rox drawstring bag

• Entry to win $250 to a Magnifi Financial savings account

This year, Magnifi awarded:

• Three students: $250 each
• Three teachers: $250 each
• One school: $1,000 to purchase new library books, equipment, and supplies

A Community Effort 

Helping kids discover a love of reading takes an entire community.
