Housing is a foundation for success, and Minnesota Housing Top Producers are committed to helping homebuyers build equity and wealth through successful homeownership.
Minnesota Housing supports and strengthens homeownership by working with local loan officers like those at Magnifi Financial Credit Union to provide affordable homebuyer loans. In 2025, participating lenders provided over 3,100 Minnesota Housing home mortgage loans totaling nearly $710 million statewide. This work supports Minnesota Housing’s mission to collaborate with individuals, communities, and partners to create, preserve, and finance affordable housing. It also advances the agency’s Go Big goal of 40% of first-time mortgages going to Black homeowners, Indigenous homeowners, and homeowners of color.
Homeownership continues to be one of the strongest pathways to stability, wealth building, and long-term opportunity. Minnesota Housing partners with local loan officers like Adam, Logan, or Mike to connect eligible buyers with access to safe, decent, and affordable housing options, including downpayment and closing-cost assistance loans up to $18,000, depending on the program. Information and eligibility requirements are available by selecting “I am a Homebuyer or Homeowner” on the Minnesota Housing website at mnhousing.gov.
Minnesota Housing also offers home improvement loans through participating lenders and finances single-family and multifamily housing throughout the state.
The Minnesota Housing Top Producing Loan Officer Program has recognized individual loan officers with the highest volume of Minnesota Housing program loans since 2010. The 125 Top Producing Loan Officers in 2025 are recognized as Top Producers on the Minnesota Housing “Find A Lender” search tool.
