We're thrilled to share that Magnifi Financial Foundation® donated $30,000 to local projects that enhance the well-being of our communities!
Each year, the Magnifi Financial Foundation funds initiatives that make a significant long-term impact on the betterment of our members and the communities we serve. Below are the local organizations that received this year's donations:
Fargo Park District Foundation - $10,000
The Fargo Parks Sports Center is an indoor venue for sports and entertainment! It caters to everyone and features a complimentary walking track and versatile community areas. New programs are accessible to over 13,000 children and more than 20+ local organizations. The facility plans to introduce hardwood courts, ice rinks, pickleball courts, an indoor playground, and additional amenities this winter. This remarkable venue truly unites youth, families, and the community for a variety of enjoyable activities.
Mississippi Gateway Regional Park Redevelopment - $10,000
This project will feature a brand-new Gateway Center, a thrilling Treetop Trail, nature play areas, a Mini-Mississippi play feature, Learning Labs, and improved trails. We're excited to support this initiative, creating a welcoming space for all to explore the Mississippi River and enjoy the outdoors year-round!
Wadena Police Department - Siren Project - $5,000
The donation will help purchase three new weather sirens to expand coverage to county residents southwest and southeast of town. These new sirens will enhance the current system and cover all city limits and beyond! The Magnifi Financial Foundation is proud to support our local communities and support this initiative.
Albany Police Department - Project Theo - $2,500
Project Theo is the Albany Police Department's new Therapy Dog initiative. This program marks Minnesota's first School Resource Officer and Therapy Dog Team! The donation will help cover essential expenses like kennels, beds for multiple locations, specialized training, veterinarian costs, food, a therapy dog vest and leash, and general maintenance items. We are excited to contribute to this innovative project and support Albany's efforts to enhance student and community well-being.
The Melrose Area Community Youth Center - $2,500.
This donation will help provide meals, organize fun activities and games, and support special events like boys' and girls' nights. The Magnifi Financial Foundation is proud to support local youth and make a difference in their lives.
