At Magnifi, supporting our communities isn’t just something we say, it’s something we show up for. This March, we were proud to partner with SACA Food Shelf to help stock their shelves at their new building and support neighbors facing food insecurity.
A Community Effort That Made an Impact
Thanks to the generosity of our members and communities, non-perishable food donations poured in across our metro branches in Blaine, Columbia Heights, Coon Rapids, and Maple Grove. Every item donated stayed local, directly supporting families in need right here in our communities.
Together, we collected close to 400 pounds of food. The response was incredible and reflects the heart of what makes our communities so strong: people showing up for each other.
Celebrating at Hops for Hunger
To cap off the effort, many of our members and team members attended SACA’s annual Hops for Hunger event. The evening brought together local breweries, cideries, and non-alcoholic beverage makers, along with hundreds of attendees from across the community. With live music, great food, and a lively silent auction, the energy in the room was a powerful reminder of what’s possible when a community rallies around a shared cause.
Last year, SACA served over 55,000 individuals and distributed over 950,000 pounds of food. As the need continues to grow, they're moving into a larger facility to serve even more families.
